A Week in Dale’s Life – Week 52

52 weeks huh. That’s roughly a year, I’m pretty sure. Dang, I’ve been doing this for a year, what the heck… (you can clearly tell that I’m making all of this up as I go along, and that is more than fine with me)

When my mind finds something that piques it’s interest, the chances of that interest lasting for more than a year is very very low, it’d be lucky to even last a few months. So the fact that I’ve been writing this blog (if you can even call it that) for roughly a single year of my life must mean something, right?

I have no clue if it actually means anything. I just started this thing to improve my writing and to help with articulating the mess that is my brain. And I think it’s helped/is currently helping me do that exact thing. The difference is night and day when comparing my recent stuffs to my first few entries (I decided to look back and my guy didn’t even write anything until week 5, bruh).

Aside from the writing, there’s also seems to be a very huge difference in real life, from the person I was a year ago, to the person I am now. Though there isn’t really any way for you to judge this, unless you’ve met me and you also have a time machine. Joking aside, this past year definitely had a surplus of new experiences when compared to an average year of my life. They have mostly been very good experiences, and I’ve found that the people you surround yourself with will definitely have a very high impact on determining the type of experience you will experience (I don’t think this phrase makes any sense, but let’s just go with it), so please hang out with decent, good people, people who will teach you a thing or two about life, whether directly or through osmosis.

Another thing that I’ve realized while going through this whole endeavor is that writing can be a lot of fun, if you have something to write about, which most people do. And the process of putting your thoughts onto paper/screen as actual words is quite meditative (most times…), it’s also a very self-reflective task, so it might help in getting to know yourself better, you knows.

Anyhow, that’s it. Here’s your 1 year anniversary special. We’ll go back to the regular programming next week. Don’t expect long entries like this on a regular, cause frankly I’m too lazy. But don’t worry, I’ll just continue on with rambling about how my week has gone until the foreseeable future. Might even continue this until the day I die (eh, probably not, but you never know).
