Alrighty, here’s a longer-than-usual post, as teased on last week’s post, though I have no clue how to start this, we’ll just see what happens…
This week has been eventful, both in good and in not-so-good ways, the majority of it has been quite a pleasant experience though, so no need to worry.
Here’s a quick rundown of what has transpired, for those who do not know.
I went on vacation! First one in goodness knows how long, and I’ve enjoyed myself very much, and I’ve learned and experienced a handful of new things as well, which is always a nice added bonus. I’ve also gotten to spend time with friends, and even managed to make new ones, it seems.
This is a highly recommended experience, and I would love to go again.
One thing I really enjoyed very much, aside from all the hilarious inside jokes that have been generated as a side effect of this trip (#genz, minormoments, zipline, yes insert name here etc. etc.). Yes, aside from all of that, I really enjoyed the process of getting to know people, whether that be through bantering on the back of a moving van or through sacrificing your sleep to have intimate conversations deep into the night.
I found that everyone you meet is actually quite interesting, you just have to listen and pay attention sometimes.
All in all, this week/trip will be listed in the memory banks as an overall happy experience, to be reminisced on in the future, so that when I look back on this when I have gray hair, and I’m much older than I am now, I can confidently say that I was happy that I actually went.
So if ever a situation arises where you are able to go on a trip with a group of friends. I’d say don’t overthink things and just do it. You’ll probably also have a very good time.
