A Week in Dale’s Life – Week 61

My first week of living alone has now passed, and all I’ve eaten in the past week have been either bread or foods in cans.

Do I feel particularly healthy whilst eating said edible items? No, no really. But, as human beings, which I currently am, we learn along the way.

The majority of what I’ve done in the past week have either been house cleaning or getting a damn Wi-Fi connection up and running, oh, plus some Duolingo, if you’re into that.

This past week has made me realize that you have to get up and do the work, because no one else will to do it for you anymore. Now, if that comes off as a bit melancholic, it is not intended. It’s just another realization, and thus a part of life. Stop being so dramatic all the time.

Speaking of feelings, let’s talk about a certain kind of feeling, loneliness. Have I felt that way at all this past week? No, not even a smidge. It’s actually been quite peaceful, to be truthfully honest. And whenever I was craving that weird human dependency called a social life, all I had to do was hop on Discord, then boom, loneliness has now been replaced with sleep deprivation, easy. The internet does have its uses, sometimes.

There you are a brief summarization of my first week living by myself. Look out for the next update, after a year or two, maybe.
